As promised, we're continually updating the format on BitRhythm88. This week marks an 8-Bit first of playing non-videogame music; instead we featured an hour of chiptune artists, music that sounded like it could be in videogames, and music inspired by videogames. Next week 8-Bit will return to playing videogame tracks, but the new material seemed to go over pretty well so we'll keep mixing in some chiptune stuff in the future.

Bitrhythm88 consists of two shows, 8Bit 88 and Algorhythm. 8Bit 88 starts the two-hour block, with an hour of video game music and chip tunes from 12-1am on Monday night/Tuesday morning. Algorhythm follows from 1-2am with an hour of math rock, noise rock, and early post-hardcore.
That's only on WRAS-Atlanta, Album 88. 88.5 on your FM dial.
